In phonics we learned the new sounds:

Tricky words:

my, by, all

In  maths, we counted to 100, and we played games counting forwards and backwards from 20.

We also did some practical activities to learn about measuring and capacity.  

Our topic work was based on the stories Handa's surprise, Handa's hen and The Ugly Five.  We did our own still life painting of the fruit.   We enjoyed tasting the fruit from the story.  
We played a great game that involved trying to work out which African animal was on our own headbands!
