Welcome to our week in Peppard Class

We have started our topic about dinosaurs with the introduction of Grandpa Rex and his bag of books.  Our first story was Harry and the Bucketful of dinosaurs.  We stopped at page 14 for the children to have a go at predicting what might happen next.  They did some lovely pictures and writing.  We are seeing such great progress.  

On Friday, we learned about Carnivores, Herbivores and Omnivores.  The children then did a sorting activity.

We have been learning to read and write consonant blends in words in our phonics lesson.  We have also been practising writing phrases and sentences.

In maths we have been doing practical activities involving doubles, sharing and patterns.

Please can you remember to make sure the reading books are in book bags so they do not get bent or wet.  Thank you, they are very expensive to replace.
