Peppard Class have loved starting their weekly gymnastics lessons at Kennylands Gymnatics in Sonning Common. Everyone has given all the challenges a go with huge levels of enthusiasm. We are excited to develop lots of new skills over the term ahead!

We had great fun at our first Forest Camp session of term. We helped put up a hammock and swing to play in, climbed trees and even spotted our first daffodils down Springwood lane! 

In phonics this week we have been learning the new digraphs 'ai', 'ee' and 'oa' and a trigraph 'igh'- like in the word "high". Please do help your children by practicing recognising these sounds at home as well as the tricky words.

In maths we had lots of fun looking at the composition of 5 and playing maths games that help us to conceptually subitise. We also thought about "one more" and "one less" and enjoyed using our snack shop to practice these skills.
