Peppard class - 03/05/2024
Date: 3rd May 2024 @ 3:07pm
Welcome to our week in Peppard class.
We have spent time on our handwriting and letter formation this week. We are so impressed with how far the children have progressed. Please do practise at home but keep it fun.
We have been learning longer words with adjacent consonants this week.
In maths we have been learning to add and subtract using the 'first, next, now' stories. We enjoyed Mr Gumpy's outing and used the story to create some maths questions.
We spent Monday afternoon learning about worms and how and where to find them. We then went onto the common on a worm hunt before making our own worm house.
We loved meeting the baby chicks on Tuesday afternoon. Thank you so much farmer Lou. We learned about how fragile they are and how to touch them carefully.
Tennis, gymnastics and Forest school have been so fun and the skill progression has been fabulous.
Enjoy the bank holiday weekend. If you have Show and Tell on Monday, please bring it in on FRIDAY instead.
