We had a very exciting start to the week when we discovered Tutankhamun’s tomb had been recreated in our corridor! We took turns becoming Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon and spent time in the tomb discovering its treasures by lantern light. It was great fun being archaeologists and thinking about what the different objects told us about the past. 

 

We read about Howard Carter and have been investigating biographies snd wrote one for Howard Carter in English. 

 

We were practising passing balls into a space in PE on the Common. Apologies for the muddy clothes on Tuesday! 

 

In Spanish we asked each other questions to recap greetings and questions about ourselves then learnt how to ask for different types of food. 

 

We continued to explore classification in science this week using a classification key to work out which alien was which! We had to really concentrate! Then we started to create our own classification keys for a group of 6 different animals.

 

Homework is daily reading, Doodle maths, spellings and times tables.
