Maths

We have been busy in maths this week! We have been continuing to add and subtract, including bridging tens. To help us learn we have been using plenty of manipulatives including tens frames, number lines and base ten. We have also been playing the' four in a row' game with friends where we had to roll two dice, add the numbers together, and put a coloured counter on our answer. The person who got four counters in a row first won! We had fun! 

Our topic

We have been continuing to learn about the weather in English and Geography this week. We have been discussing and recording the weather on our Peppard Primary weather board, and we have been discussing technical vobaularly relating to the weather that day. On Wednesday we pretended we were weather presesnters and planned, rehearsed and performed weather reports to our class. 

Gymnastics

As part of our gymnastics lesson at Kennylands on Wednesday, we played lots of fun games with the parachute. We placed balls on top of the parachute and tried to catch them after we had lifted the parachute up into the air. We then completed our cool down underneath the parachute which made us laugh!
