Science

This week in science we went outside onto the Common to spot evergreen and deciduous trees. Once we had had a good explore and made some discoveries, we went back into the classroom. There, we discussed the characterisitics of three of the leaves we have found which were Holly, Laurel and Fir.

Maths

This week in maths we have been adding and subtracting, bridging tens numbers. We have been using our number bonds knowledge to help us, as well as using plenty of resources including tens frames, number lines and rekenreks. 

PE

In PE on Tuesday, we worked in teams to create games using the PE equipment which included hoops, cones and beanbags, The game had to have a scoring element to it and had to include jumping and throwing. We came up with some really good ideas. One of our games even had a moving hoop that we had to throw a bean through to score! It was a lot of fun!
