Henley Literary Festival

We attended a workshop by Greg James and Chris Smith this week at the festival. It was really fun because they talked about their new book Super Ghost. We were also lucky enough to be gifted with a copy of the book which they later signed with personal messges for all of us. We had a great time.

Science

In science we are learning about the life cycle of animals and this week we went on the Common to find worms, soil and leaves so that we could put them inside our homemade worm farms. We are going to observe the worms very closely to see if they can reproduce without a mate. We will carry out the experiement over the course of six weeks. 

PE

In PE we are doing football and dance. This week in football we played a fun defending and attacking game and in dance we have been learning a Rock and Roll dance to the song Rock around the Clock. We have learnt some dance moves from the 1950s as well as being able to choerograpgh our own new moves. It has been fun.
