PE

On Wednesday this week during PE we created our own games in small groups and we were given one concrete rule to apply which had to include a competitive element. Then we demonstarted our games to the other groups and they had to guess what the rule was. We also discussed rules within different sports and why they are important.

Spanish

This year we have started learning Spanish on Wednesday mornings. This week we learned how to introduce ourselves and have basic conversations in Spanish. We then took part in role plays with a partner demonstating what we had learnt to the class.

Literacy

We have been creating travel leaflets about St David's. One of our writing focus this term is persuasive writing and we started the term by writing a persuasive piece about the seasons. For our travel brochures we have been using rhetorical questions, ambitious symonyms and description to entice people to visit St David's.
