Art
For art this week we started to design the backdrops for the play. Once everyone has finished their designs, Mrs Parsons will select a backdrop for each scene and they will be projected on the back wall of the theatre.
Rehearsals
Our rehearsals have gone into full swing this week! We have turned our classroom into a stage by using masking tape to cordon off areas and we have designeed a timetable of scenes that we need to practice. Mrs Hall has helped us with the songs, whilst Mrs Parsons and Mrs Elson has been helping us with our acting and lines.
English
In English this week, and in line with the topic of our play, we have written our own persuasive speech about the benefits of rewilding areas. We learnt that there is a 30 by 30 pledge with the aim that by 2030, 30% of wildlife in Britain will be protected. It has made us think more about our local area and how we can look after wildlife including plants and animals.
