Our week has been filled with variety.
We began the week by writing letters to Mr Steele, persuading him to let us get a school pet. Some of us chose the best option (a sheep, of course), though ideas ranged from pigs to cats!
Springwood have begun to look at biographies and autobiographies. We looked at some writing about the life of Roald Dahl in order to identify the features of a biography.
Our maths work has been centred around fractions, including multiplying unit and non-unit fractions by whole numbers and by fractions, and dividing fractions by whole numbers.
In Music, we have been composing music. You can listen to our ‘moonwalking’ composition, in which we used chords.
On Friday, we went to Nettlebed Primary School to watch ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. We had a lot of fun, and many of us got involved. The event was organised as a part of the Henley Youth Festival.
