This week has been assessment week. Miss Tillotson is thrilled with how hard everybody has worked and so pleased with all the effort that was put in. We really have proved what superstars we are and deserve a nice, relaxing weekend!
We joined together with Greys class this week and took part in a maths challenge. We had to work in teams to make 2d shapes using long pieces of wool. After lots of trial and error, we came up with a great method and managed to make all the polygons up to a decagon! Everybody showed super team work to get the task done.

In science this week we have been learning about the different components of an electrical circuit. We discussed the function of each and had to identify problems in circuits that were not working. We spent time building our own circuits.
On Wednesday, we were all very excited to be having our whole school Christmas lunch! Greys and Peppard Classrooms were decorated beautifully and we had a delicious Christmas lunch served to us!
After lunch we had a very special visitor! We all got a chance to meet him and were given a present!
Thank you very much to everyone who helped to make the day so special.
Please can all children remember to complete their spelling sentences each week, ready to be handed in on Wednesday. Well done to everybody who practiced their times tables at home this week. There were some super scores from the test so keep it up!
Enjoy the weekend.
