After weeks of kind deeds, fantastic behaviour and super work Greys class have finally filled our “Brilliant Marble Jar”. As the reward for this fabulous achievement – Mrs Rolph has booked “Finger and Thumb” Theatre Company to come into school next Wednesday. We wrote invitations to all the other classes inviting them to join with us to watch the performance.
We have also been looking at the reasons we celebrate Bonfire night and finding out about Guy Fawkes. We made firework safety posters that we delivered to all classes and we have displayed around the school.
Next week remember to bring PE kits on Monday as we will be going to Thames Valley Gym. On Thursday we need to bring in swimming costumes.
Our stars of the week were:
Louie for his persuasive letter writing.
Bethan for the wonderful descriptive words she used in her story about “The Magic Marble Jar”.
Ben for his excellent mental maths work and being able to explain how to use the 100 square efficiently when adding numbers greater than 10.
Thank you to all the parents who came along this week to parents evening.
